Thru Line Eye Essentials

Don’t usually use stick eyeliner, but this is nice and easy to apply and I usually smudge it in better with a liner brush which is easy to do as well. I definitely did not realize it was waterproof until I read the title of the product here, and would not consider it smudge or water proof even a bit.

I’ve ordered & re-ordered this eyeliner multiple times. Goes on smooth, no tug. Stays on great, does not irritate & I wear soft contact lenses pretty much daily. I’m not completely sold on the new design of pencil vs twist up. I appreciate the more earth friendly vs plastic choice but I did have trouble sharpening the pencil with the Ilia sharpener that I also purchased. The pencil didn’t seem to fit properly or it was just too slick to grab within. Anyway, I couldn’t get it to work so I switched to an old L’Oréal sharpener I had hanging around, that worked just fine. The pencil itself, stellar!! I’ll never be without it, glad I could access the product again with my old sharpener so now I feel better about the greener pack choice!

I bought this to sharpen my newly designed thru-line waterproof eyeliner. I couldn’t manage it. I actually questioned if maybe the eyeliner wasn’t a pencil but a stealth wind up style crayon. Nope. I pulled out my old L’Oréal sharpener & that worked fine. Success, pencil sharpened, no issues. I haven’t used the wider opening as I don’t have any of the wider pencils, so I don’t have an opinion regarding that part of the sharpener.
